Dunbrody Abbey
Located in Campile, 2 miles from the Passage East Car Ferry. The Abbey was built in the late 12th century as a Cistercian Monastery. Founded by Herve De Montmorency on the instructions of Strongbow, it flourished until approximately 1539 when Henry VIII, assisted by Thomas Cromwell, instigated the Dissolution of the Monasteries. Possession passed to the Chichester family (Marquesses of Donegal) who still own the lands. Guided tours are available.

The Castle Garden contains an intricate maze, made with 1,500 yew trees. The Craft shop houses a small museum, the centrepiece being the Dunbrody Castle Doll's House.

Enniscorthy Castle
A Norman castle dating back to 1205, it was a private residence until 1951. During the 1798 Rising rebels took control of the town and used the castle as a prison. Today it houses the Wexford County Museum and includes artifacts from the 1798 Rising and the 1916 Easter Rising.

Located 17km south-west of Gorey in Ferns, dating back to 1220, the remains of this castle are said to have stood on the site of Dermot MacMurrough's old fortress.
